@slugbox I remember you from deviantart, being 1 of the few nsfw artist who i made me want to try the nsfw art journey. And it show that there's no secret, consistency and doing our best to enjoy our art seems perform better than algorithm, fads etc..

I’ve been a full time artist for 14 years now. “Big” is relative, but most “big” artists simply started before algorithms. Publicity strats older than a year simply don’t work. Algorithms change constantly. There’s no time to learn them. Instead try to learn how to not burn out.

@zjdelicious Ik, but it does seems like beginner with the medium using (heavily) a ref in order to train and do something a bit cool looking for a newcomer (if they are), which is way worse than ai slp, at least they tried, but ofc sharing that way and trying to look like cool kid is bad

Yea r/Pixelart. Definitely not a color reduction with a terrible edit-over and slapping it with a hand-made pixel art tag. Crazy how I scroll down and see real talent get a percentage of this attention
