Mark Grayson was a mature and developed and healthier person at the end of invincible after going through a lot of shit He was not this levelheaded and thoughtful throughout it. Writing from his end state in mind is a terrible mistake and one that shows because they can’t allow Mark to be too rough, partly because he still has to be relatable to audiences that can handle gore more that they can handle edge

@dyingscribe The show loves to drag out short bits from the comics to try to give them extra weight and it almost never works. They completely ruined the tone of “I thought you were stronger” by turning a handful of panels into like 2 minutes
