This whole “Gaethje just absolutely dominated Topuria in a BRUTAL beat down MAAANNN” bullshit needs to stop.
Yes, it was a great performance by Justin. No question. Ilia clearly wore a ton of damage & got banged up bad. But stop acting like it wasn’t competitive.
Topuria fumbled a finish in round 2. The fight was very competitive all around.

I was literally on a face tune with herb dean this morning discussing the ruling. He said the rule is worded incorrectly. Back of the head doesn’t mean back of the head. Alex showed a lot of heart getting back to his feet which is to be celebrated but Gane didn’t cheat.
