@OnyxOdds Since 1999
THE ENTIRE CONFERENCE OF THE BIG 10:
1 NCAA basketball national championship (cough cough guess who)
Tom Izzo:
1 NCAA National Championship
@MatthewKralick A legit high profile center. It’s time for us to be aggressive in the portal and land one big boy.
Give me a big that can get me 10-12 PPG but is a beast on the glass and defensively.
Roster season is here. Worst time of the year.
Eligible players to return:
Fears
Carr
Glenn
Teng
McCulloch
Divine
Scott
Ward
Incoming players:
Medlock
Jervis
Taylor
Avent
Thoughts:
1. Have to find a way to retain Fears and Carr which I think happens but that’s a must.
2. Probably will be a transfer or two out. I hate speculating on transfers but I’d be pretty surprised to see all the guards back.
3. HAVE to land a center. I love Taylor coming in but it’s gonna take some time. Can’t put too much pressure on him in year one.
4. I think fans myself included are going to absolutely love Medlock and Jervis from day one. These two kids are truly offensively gifted hoopers that will be fun to watch.
Add it all up and there’s no reason MSU shouldn’t be in the hunt next year. I hate “all or nothing” in College Basketball but next year is truly an all in type of year. Izz will be 72 and the Final Four is in Detroit.
Thoughts?
Thank you to everyone around the globe for wearing green today in honor of the Spartans. We appreciate the global support as we head into March Madness
@AcctKyle We also have played the full season without a presumed stater and the majority of the season without a key backup guard who was only playing better every day
A reminder that Michigan State is 25-7 and a 3-seed in the NCAA tournament
the fact that rival twitter wants you to believe that this season was a failure for Tom Izzo and the Spartans should tell you all you need to know about how good of a program Michigan State is.
Opelka told the umpire that he won’t play until lights came on….
Umpire : "The lighting is on its way, we can't just stop"
Opelka : “Oh I hurt my wrist, Physio 😭😭😅”
"No, that's not how it works"
You are aware that Juwan had a team that was a 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and split his first 8 meetings vs Izzo right?
You are also aware that Juwan played for the Fab 5 when Izzo was an assistant right? And yet, despite all of that still respected Howard and Howard respected him.
So you are 100% right. I do wonder why that is. Really interesting isn’t it?
