This is the third time in six months that Benjamin Netanyahu has flown through Canadian airspace. Contrary to the GAC spokesperson’s claim, he does not have the freedom to make that decision. Foreign leaders are required to seek permission before doing so. Netanyahu is also wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes. As a member of the ICC, Canada has a duty to arrest him if he enters the country. Has the government been knowingly shirking its responsibility and allowing a wanted war criminal to fly through our airspace? If he is flying through without permission, why not say so? Allowing this to pass without consequence sets a dangerous precedent. Canadians deserve a clear answer. cbc.ca/news/politics/…
