It’s amazing how much of a myth has been built around a guy with no real fights to his name that can be verified by anyone). That leaves us with Chuck Norris, Mike Tyson, and Muhammad Ali. Of those, I’d say Tyson. I love Chuck, but out of those three, he comes in at #3.

@LibertyCappy Of the 9 here, only 4 are legit professional fighters - Chuck, JVD, Tyson & Ali while Lee was a streetfighter who created his own style & Seagal was a Akido master which practically is not much chop. I’d go with Prime Tyson or Chuck as the winner.

@exQUIZitely I was a tree healer for vanilla and BC. Lots of pressure during raids if I don’t manage the heal rotation and mana properly. Only did it as no one else would as I spent levelling up as a bear/cat.

This one goes out to all the OGs that played World of Warcarft back in the day. If you were part of the "first wave", what a great run it was, wasn't it? Lots of Warcraft related posts popped up in my timeline today and it made me think of why I chose to play a DPS class back in the day. Simple answer: Low skill ceiling. Honestly, when I look at the 4 main roles (maybe there are even more these days?), and I would assign a difficulty level to each of them, this would be my ranking (from 1 to 10). Raid Leader: 10 Tank: 8 Healer: 7 DPS: 4 The amount of preparation, skill (both game skills and people skills) that are required from a good raid leader always felt off the charts. How anyone was doing it was beyond me, mad respect to all you Raid Leaders out there, past and present. I also had a fair bit of respect for tanks. Getting the rotations right, the taunt, keeping threat, managing your gear and potions, coordinating between main and off-tank... always felt pretty epic to me. The pressure must have been very high - you mess up, raid is toast. Healers were third on that list for me. Still requiring a fair bit of skill and coordination but I would assume not as much pressure as the tanks. There were usually multiple healers in raids so if you messed up slightly it could be managed. Correct? And finally to all my fellow DPS buddies, I was one of you. Just standing there and pew pewing away. Good times. As long as you weren't completely devoid of skill, it was a pretty chill role. I never played anything else, always a DPS, just tagging along. That was my skill ceiling and it made WoW a fun ride. Shout out to all you legends of days long gone! Hopefully my little trip down memory lane wasn't too far off the mark. What were you back in the day? Tank, Healer, DPS... or maybe even Raid Leader?

Yeah, two of the members were from the godawful Mother Love Bone but the members were brought together by an ent lawyer/A&R guy who shopped them around to labels. That's why they skipped the club phase and went straight to MTV.

Pearl Jam is legitimately awful and by far the worst grunge band, and I like grunge. They're sad dad music that plays at dive bars where lonely men slump over their shitty piss beers. Don't @ me.

@AstronoPriest @LearnToToad Pearl Jam wasn’t assembled by an A&R guy, don’t know where you got that from. Stone & Jeff were band members together in Green River & MLB. Mike was a school friend of Stone, Dave K was recruited after auditioning & Eddie was recruited via Jack Irons who Jeff knew.

@LearnToToad Pearl Jam was assembled by an A&R guy and rushed to market to cash in on the success of Nirvana and Alice In Chains. They were totally astroturfed and formed the template for later grunge muzak bands like Creed, Staind, Nickelcrap, Puddle Of Crud, Candlebox, etc.

@LearnToToad I think this is objectively true. While wildly popular in the 90's, out of all the big 4-5 "grunge" bands from that time, they probably are the least spun, unless you listen to their Sirius/xm station.
