@_ayandamay @mynaaaaame9 Calling Drake “music for soft dudes” like vulnerability isn’t the entire reason R&B exists
GIF
English

@nasty_west @GreenTheButcher @chili2dbite @dme_363 Thats his point… you both are arguing the same thing.
English

@GreenTheButcher @chili2dbite @dme_363 Ok bad bunny has more monthly listeners than Michael Jackson, who’s bigger ?
English

@Le23shit @chili2dbite @dme_363 Not when Drake outsells, more cultural impact has more range and ffs sounds way better.
Just cause you hate the man you can’t discredit what he’s done for music in the past 10 years
English

@25YearsAgoLive @mikitaposts You definitely broke character with “vague-post”
English

@Roddy_94 @IncredulousRex @faviexx Because some artists are forced into the zeitgeist. While others dont have as much exposure. Not everyone can know every artist. And the passive listeners, listen to what they know. And most passive listeners know what they hear from radio, clubs, stores.
English

@nothingnltm @IncredulousRex @faviexx How does the reason I know she exist have anything to with the example we used with Drake and Kendrick Lamar? Lmao
English

@Roddy_94 @IncredulousRex @faviexx How do you know she exists? Did you actively seek her out or was she pushed by different industry machines that made her a household name?
English

@IncredulousRex @nothingnltm @faviexx And? I know who Taylor swift is. I’ve never listened to her willingly and am not one of her monthly listeners. Doesn’t mean I don’t know she exists.?
English

@Roddy_94 @faviexx In any other industries, quality isnt about sales. Quality products sell but also cheaper ripoff versions sell way more. So the cookie cutter songs that have 4 chords that match 99% of other songs, will continue to sell because a large aspect of listeners dont know about music.
English

@faviexx How it feels arguing with someone who doesn’t understand that more people listening at their own expense (not radio bullshit) = more people enjoy the music

English

@solo_doyoukno @Southside_Gunn Its a cool concept and honestly its probably the best concept he can take for his album. And its cool a lot of people like it. It reminds me of merch artwork from hardcore bands. Its just that one angle that isnt hitting. For me at least.
English

@nothingnltm @Southside_Gunn why not take drake out of the illusion the name and brand is sick. the “ one agonist all “ with skulls like “ till death “. add drake back the perception of him against the whole industry ( believe it or not ) is a great concept
English

Oh my good bro, give it a fucking rest
Complex Music@ComplexMusic
“ICEMAN: ONE MAN AGAINST ALL” - Drake
English

@solo_doyoukno @Southside_Gunn He can. And the two sketches look sick. Its the “one against all” gimmick that isnt hitting as hard as intended.
English

@Southside_Gunn drake the only “ artist “ not able to explore art 😭
English

@theluvofybs My stance is those who were apart of the battle have every right to talk about it as long as they want.
Now, how long until both sides of the fan bases get tired of anyone of them talk about it?
English

GNX tackles a rapper who reached the mountaintop and still isn’t satisfied with how some view him taking that spot at the center of the genre. On GNX he sends subliminal shots like
“The world knows I just strangled me a goat.”
There wasn’t much critique of his approach to addressing the aftermath.
Now Drake,
an equal participant in that battle, is dropping his long-awaited solo effort and suddenly it’s
“Can he just rap about something else please”
Going into ICEMAN expecting Drake to act like 2024 didn’t happen is unrealistic. That’s a way of pigeonholing the artist, so if he does speak on what some people don’t want addressed, they can be disingenuous about the music itself.
Dobson 🦋@ByDobson
the last thing I want to hear is Drake sneak dissing or throwing little jabs all over ICEMAN can he just rap about something else please?
English

@docfaan @xmikemac @TomlinsonCJ @sola_chad What about my comment makes you believe I disagree with what you stated?
English

@nothingnltm @xmikemac @TomlinsonCJ @sola_chad What are you talking about? Paul is absolutely clear in Romans. Christ died for the ungodly (you, me and the murderer on the cross). Because of His amazing grace there is absolutely always the opportunity for someone to repent, believe and be saved on their deathbed.

English

@xmikemac @TomlinsonCJ @docfaan @sola_chad You and I are both on twitter, so we are not on our deathbeds and we have heard the gospel. That means we have a choice to obey or disobey how Jesus wants us to live.
English

@xmikemac @TomlinsonCJ @docfaan @sola_chad What im saying is, Jesus commanded his disciples to live their lives in a specific way after being called. The apostles then taught the early churches these same teachings. The thief was on his deathbed and accepted Jesus as his savior during his last breath.
English

@xmikemac @TomlinsonCJ @docfaan @sola_chad If true genuine faith occurs after one is already on their deathbed, yes. But knowingly ignore all other commandments and waiting till the last second isnt quite genuine.
English

@TomlinsonCJ @docfaan @sola_chad But you ARE saying that someone CAN be saved this way, right?
That salvation CAN be attained by faith alone, yes?
English

@sola_chad Another interesting fact of the theif, God never told anyone to live the life of the theif. In fact he commanded everyone else to repent and be baptized, take communion AND those that obeyed would do greater works than Jesus.
English

@Dayeustache @PacsGun If its what happened, you should be able to easily show the evidence.
