@JazzonCrete I take that back! lol I was reading some news articles saying they measured a magnitude 5.4 tremor today. But I looked at the data myself now (see my latest tweet) and the largest measured was 5.0 yesterday and 4.8 today. So not getting stronger, about the same.

@JazzonCrete No problem. I'm not sure many people know there is a massive underwater volcano right next to Santorini. And all these tremors are coming from that exact volcanic field. The magnitude of the tremors seems to be getting stronger as well. Worrying times for the residents

@TiritogluN @JazzonCrete Scientists seem to think - in essence - it's tectonic plates (rubbing together) causing the tremors, NOT a build of lava that will lead to an eruption. But of course they are interepreting data, so they could be wrong. But hopefully they are right!
