I think the issue is just that I’m very aware of my thoughts and feelings and also unashamed of them and people who are neither are deeply bothered by this.

@sundownsapphic Most of the people in my life use iPhones so I feel like I’ve been hearing this a lot from iOS users. I’m curious if android users are having the same issues. Bc then we really might be going blind lmao. But also all of the technology going to shit across companies is plausible.

@notninamonei I can’t remember when or on what platform, but someone said a new update nuked the keyboard, making it so that even if you press the right key, the keyboard will register another one, gaslighting you into thinking you’re just mistyping

@HiddenFights Why everybody is conflict avoidant, suspicious, and constantly on edge, because we can’t even say “I had a feeling 10 years ago and didn’t act on it” without people going “oh my god, you can’t be trusted!”

@notninamonei "I do the exact same thing as you but i don't talk about it" and these people wonder why the fuck everything is taboo

Once again, stop talking to me about the fact you are not smart and don’t know what words mean. You are on your page calling my thoughts “fuckery” that “nobody needed to know” and going “I’m NoT sHaMiNg tHeM.” Read more, learn things, talk at people less. Enjoy your day.
m6se@muse6u

nobody on this side shamed you, you just feel some type of way because I didn’t outright agree with you but I admitted that thoughts happen and I am aware of them I just don’t say them out loud and I fix the source of the thought so they don’t happen again…..that’s not shaming

@EyeSwear For sure. I was gonna say “it depends on your definition of community” but then was like if we’re accountable the whole world about certain things, does that mean we’re in community with the whole world? Characters limits are fun 😂

@notninamonei I was thinking about that when I made the tweet too. I decide to roll with bc 240 characters 😂. Also I think I'd consider myself in community with people under those circumstances. There are different levels of community and accountability rises/falls in proportion to that

You can in large scale ways, like being accountable to the sanctity of human life and not intentionally harming people and not littering. But people want strangers to be intimately accountable to their feelings. They also say “accountability” where they mean punishment and shame.

People abusing the word "accountability" pisses me off so bad! Like you're not accountable to people you aren't in community with.

@notninamonei Oh my God, I'm so sorry that happened to you 😭 That's truly awful. If only people got as worked up about real harm as they do some victimless thought crime you apparently committed huh

I was falsely arrested by a police officer who tried to kidnap me in broad daylight in October. I was arrested in front of my 10 year old by police who also assaulted my 10 year old and left her crying on the street. I lost my job and spent MONTHS begging people to care.

If people wanted people to be “accountable” to harm, it would be enough for those people to correct their wrongs, make amends where harm was caused and work not to harm others. But most times people are calling for “accountability”, they want someone perpetually punished.

I'm sure glad that one guy is gone
You should be deeply ashamed. You should be stoned in fact. You were grown as hell at 13 and knew better. I can't believe you're tryna rationalize being such a terrible grown ass adult just cause you were 13. Women and accountability smh.
Nina Definitely Was Not Here@notninamonei

People said “if this is happening over and over, you need to do some self work” and the funny thing is that’s what I did. The first time it happened, I was 13 and I felt deeply ashamed of myself like I betrayed my friend by even having the feelings. I buried it and hated myself.

@notninamonei Pretty funny that a self-admitted cheater, someone with low impulse control and can’t communicate like an adult with their partner, has a problem with your take.

I posted thread after thread, body cam footage, footage of them assault my child. Nobody had shit to say about that tho. Lots of pity/obligatory RTs. No QTs. No threads doing ~high level social theory~. No commentary. No ~analysis~ of how this impacts Black women and girls.
