Welcome to my Twitter: a place for my raw thoughts (and other shit)! Coincidentally that'll be the title of my first collection of personal essays, creative non-fiction, poems, and vignettes: RAW THOUGHTS (AND OTHER SHIT) by Ryan Cecere. Give me ten years to work on it ;)

My novel's set in New Rochelle, NY, my hometown, where I spent much of my life and will be gladly returning to in a few months after years away. The only other novel tied to New Rochelle in setting, I discovered, is RAGTIME by E.L. Doctorow.

The world doesn't need another GAME OF THRONES; it needs more originality.

@BookAnonJeff @notryance I have, yes—when I moved apartments while living in Florida. Still won’t give an e-reader a second glance.

Physical books are great conversation starters; not e-books.

@BookAnonJeff Negative. It's far more sexy to own physical books and have bookshelves than a simple device.

@notryance Negative. I can carry entire libraries - indeed, the entirety of human knowledge - in the palm of my hand with an eBook. *NO* library can hold that many dead tree books.

@notryance Naw. With eBooks, the conversation is "what are you reading?" With dead trees, that question is already answered. ;)
