So, the return commute this evening... Just 4 mins late getting back to Heald Green. Carriage not so clean - but definitely not sooo cold! Clear and helpful passenger update announcements on the way. Was it worth £9.10 @northernassist ? The jury is out!

My first commuter journey of 2019 @northernassist 7.44am from Heald Green; Fares are up, Carriage clean but desperately cold, Just 2 minutes late arriving in Bolton, Really friendly ticket collector on the train. Trying to be hopeful - let’s see what the return journey brings eh!

Great to hear that the newly created public space in Stockport is to be called ‘Suffragette Square’ with 4 benches named after prominent Stockport women associated with that movement; Elizabeth Raffled, Gertrude Police, Hannah Winbolt & Elsie Plant.

Bin collections update: Rescheduled for missed black bin will be collected 6th, 7th or 8th. Missed brown 5th or 6th. Missed blue 8th or 9th. Normal collections for w/c 5th apart from green bin which is canceled until w/c 12th.
