i believe horikoshi decided to not make endeavor one dimensional after writing entire sports festival arc where he essentially refers to everyone not touya and certainly not shoto as offspring (derogatory) and is running eugenics pet project and didn’t know how to make it fit

i’m all for let’s give depth to this problematic character movement, but we just got: okay he was abusive but he LOVED them too, trop reheated and served
