Narendra Modi’s censorship parallels what Indira Gandhi was doing and is also worse as he is running an undeclared Emergency. The deletion of cartoons like this should end the debate over what kind of regime the Shah and Shahenshah are running.
Satish Acharya@satishacharya

Two notifications in three days from X as they received 'order' from the govt to block two of my cartoons. Though this govt has lots of 'tejaswi log', let me share a pro-tip. My experience for the last 15 years on social media teaches me that whenever any govt/politician tries to stop a cartoon by force, that cartoon normally reaches ten times more readers!

I am not against Blink-it alone all of them are abusing the unfair advantage they have over the unemployed. If you guys can give us aggregate data of biryani, condoms & biggest orders while tracking them live… Just release the below aggregate data so we either end the conversation or start one… No of Delivery agents in 2024 No of hours they put in 2024 No of kilometres traveled in 2024 No of deliveries made in 2024 Money annually paid to per rider/ driver in 2024 The accidents/death at work & compensations given. (We can calculate the money spent on petrol, electricity, CNG & know exactly how much they’re are paid) If you can’t disclose this under the garb of data privacy, just a reminder sensitive customer data was stored in CHINA’s Alibaba by “some” of you before you grudgingly moved it to AWS… Is anyone working in these institutions @LabourMinistry & @MCA21India

Capitalism survives on dissatisfaction. If you woke up tomorrow and genuinely liked your face, your body, your home, your clothes the entire industries would collapse. The goal is to convince you that fulfillment is always one purchase away. Lose 10 pounds, buy this serum, get a

I think the non-acknowledgment of Marxist analysis, the blatant non-attribution of the frameworks (besides the intellectual and theoretical grounding) provided by Lenin, Samir Amin and a host of other Leftist scholars is not oversight or plagiarism or lack of knowledge. I think it is the coping mechanism under which capitalism will allow you to flourish: the capitalism which will require to imagine/ recast its reformed version like lipstick on pigs, the "benevolent-masquerading" neoliberal capitalism that controls not just markets but also (to deploy that vulgar ugly repulsive expression) the "marketplace of ideas". This is not happening because the West got ashamed of considering communist regimes that ran rogue as a taboo, and has therefore decided to maintain some veneer of respectable distance--but because capitalist neoliberal capture of thought and expression have castrated us to the point where Marxist ideas of revolution and liberation have become simply impossible to use or employ. In the short term, identification as a Marxist/Leninist comes with such ostracization and unmarketability, so no one dares to own up to it. No one wants to perish in silence, no one wants to be consigned to pamphlet writing. The market, because it is dictates how we sustain ourselves, will not let these ideas compete for space or visibility. Instead we are going to watch this phenomenon among writers thinkers scholars academics economists whoever, who are going to put forth some bite-sized spoonfed watered-down ideas that are crumbs left on the floor by revolutionaries, crumbs which will not seek the dismantling of capitalism or the destruction of imperialism, crumbs that will be heralded as a breakthrough because it posits no threat to the social order that oppresses us today.

BSNL somehow ‘forgot’ to bill Reliance for 10 years. Consequently, govt lost 1757 crores. We all know who benefited. But you won’t hear any scrutiny over it coz Kamra’s audience are the priority for media.

Just seeing the RCT 'scandal' brewing among econs again. This is not a question about some bad apples or some instances of malpractice. The RCT industry has been completely distorted from its inception in Econ and this is closely tied to the incentive structure of the discipline.
