Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was found dead after hours of searching under rubble. She was killed in an Israeli strike, after the Israeli army fired at ambulances trying to reach her, delaying her rescue.
She is the fourth journalist killed by Israel while in the field since 2 March.
She was a professional, kind and dedicated journalist, and always a pleasure to run into in the field.

This is the rub with all “2 state solution” bromides from high status liberals: you ask them to define a “Palestinian state” and even their most blue sky vision is a completely humiliated bantustan occupied by foreign troops. No such comparable demands ofc are ever made of Israel

@nourtarts im not pretending it's in a positive light? obviously a culture that is against women's life and liberty is not going to put a 'transgressive' woman in a positive light? the women portrayed positively are the patient, complacent mother types/doormats (ex: soad in bab el hara)
