@skeletondeadlav for classics, i've been on a more essays bend lately, but a room of one's own by virginia woolf was a recent read i quite enjoyed (very late to the woolf party)

@skeletondeadlav if you enjoy mythology inspired fantasy and haven't read these already: his dark materials series (philip pullman) and spinning silver (naomi novak) were excellent. former inspired by christian lore and latter by diverse european folktales.
