So I listen to @noverthinking and @theallinpod ones for mid 20s and ones for mid 40s. They’re okay but it’s the closest thing to see how tech dudes obscure their status and observe power. My feelings are they leverage their position and manipulate mobility.

@noverthinking loved your latest episode! Great discussion overall, however me being me I really got excited at the part about wanting a dog. :D Would it be ok if I make a response YouTube video to what Ali said and include clips from podcast?

@noverthinking In other words, IMO it's not a "dealing with anxiety about work" thing, it's a "dealing with anxiety" thing.

@noverthinking With Taimur's point about how "I have a lot of work to do" is more anxiety inducing than "I need to finish the marketing site revamp", I think you missed the core of the issue: specifying is step 1 in battling any type of anxiety.

If you missed it, this week's podcast explored the emotional rollercoasters we've been on recently - Ali with his book + reading comments online, and Taimur with his startup's narrative journey. Check out the YouTube version here: youtu.be/41kAAjPfeyU

@noverthinking as a long-time listener of the podcast, I agree that book review episodes are not as interesting IF you simply read out quotes from the book. They’re much more interesting if you have a discussion about the topics raised in the book.

@noverthinking for example, with the "Righteous mind": I read it because of Ali's suggestion, freaking loved it and were initially excited about you two discussing it. But the episode felt more like a vague retelling of the ideas instead of actual discussion about them.

@noverthinking on the topic about book discussion episodes: as a long time listener I'd enjoy them a lot more if you chose few points from the book and then discussed your feelings and opinions on those points instead of summarising the book.

This week’s episode is out! Taimur tries to care less about “epistemic humility” and instead be wrong about things more often. Now also on YouTube: youtu.be/qYQ7GUCeNn4

be direct, if you mean to say something in ‘air quotes’ then say that was air quotes guys... and then people can misinterpret it because you’ve been explicit.

@noverthinking recent episode feedback: to ask a women to define misogyny and then saying ahhhh don’t think we really need to get into the definitions is backwards, naive and ignorant 😳 I do love your podcast / content. And, keep them coming but that episode wasn’t it.

4/5 stars to Games People Play: The Psychology of Human Relationships by Eric Berne. Really fun to read about behaviour patterns which I can immediately identify in my own behaviour and that of the people around me... goodreads.com/review/show/37…

@noverthinking wow, guys, the latest episode was remarkably good and the exact reason why I listen to your podcast! Love the honesty, in depth discussion and the deep dives in how each of you view things.

@noverthinking what was the email newsletter that you read out in the last 8 mins of the most recent podcast episode about your 2020 highlights? I found that particularly resonated with me and would love to read more from the author
