Research from the 2007 archives and my current thoughts on the field of fibrosis: The impetus to the diagnosis and treatment of muscle adhesion (fibrosis). Because the diagnosis and treatment of adhesion, with predictably, is incredibly difficult, my guess is another 15 years will pass and fibrosis will receive nothing more than lip service. Much like the prior 15 years. While the diagnosis and treatment of adhesion does not solve all musculoskeletal problems, it will certainly course correct the degenerative process more predictably than any other method to my knowledge. It will also allow one to sift through, and prioritize which tissues are involved, and what pathologies are present in those tissues which is the ultimate clarity when it comes to the art of musculoskeletal diagnosis.

9 out of every 10 patients with headaches, neck pain, or numbness/tingling down their arms respond favorably to the removal of fibrosis (adhesion).

Tight hip flexors that don’t respond to stretching are often caused by fibrous adhesion in the muscle. This adhesion is entirely fixable with proper treatment.

@drmarkhyman Don't forget fibrous adhesion in the suboccipital muscles (myodural bridge), arguably the most common cause of migraines, and the most common reversible cause of decreased upper cervical flexion (#1 indicator of future neck problems).

The Germans have a word "halbwissen" which means "superficial knowledge from someone who overestimates their own proficiency". I think combined with schadenfreude this confirms that the Germans have the best words - not the guy who used to claim he did. h/t @iamrondavison

There is no instant gratitude or quick fix when solving pain or injury. There is arriving at a complete diagnosis and then applying best treatment for said diagnosis. Anything less than establishing a complete list of problems and then selecting the best fix will not get it done.
