Yes, the HPV vaccine (like Gardasil 9) targets the high-risk strains (esp. HPV-16) responsible for ~70% of oropharyngeal cancers linked to oral sex. For vaccinated men, it prevents oral HPV acquisition from partners' genitals during cunnilingus, cutting infection risk by 80%+ and head/neck cancer incidence significantly (per 2024 studies & CDC). Best before exposure; doesn't treat existing infections.

@Reptile924150 @TheLucasToday @HQNewsNow I didn't say it wasn't possible, I'm saying you either fund it all or you fund nothing. There is no middle ground. Otherwise every President would never EVER get anything passed if Republicans just picked things out of a department.

@TheLucasToday @HQNewsNow TSA is a part of the DHS. You have to fund DHS in its entirety. You can't just pick and choose what you want to fund, doesn't work that way.

@Nated4wg21 @phisportfanatic "rehabilitation over incarceration" This is exactly the fucking cause of all the hardship over this country. People being released from jail and killing again or raping again or doing whatever they want because of people like you having those thoughts.

@phisportfanatic Henry made a terrible decision operating a motor vehicle while impaired which unfortunately ended a humans life. I do believe Henry was sincere from what I seen from the trial and (hopefully) has learned from his mistakes. If time was served I believe he deserves a 2nd chance.

You can go on YouTube and watch footage of the woman screaming before she goes unconscious and her dog frantically running around the backseat barking before they both burn to death because Henry Ruggs decide to drive drunk. He shouldn’t be allowed to step foot out of prison let alone onto a football field.
Polymarket Football@PolymarketBlitz

Henry Ruggs is eligible for parole in August. He is only 27 years old. Should he try to make a NFL comeback?

The right won't watch it because they are raceswapping a main character who will in the show be racist towards a small white kid. Expand the characters that are already black - like Angelina Johnson, Dean Thomas, Lee Jordan, Kingsly Shacklebolt etc. I would have been so happy to see those roles expanded and to learn more about them.

@race31x @MattThomas2021 @TPV_John My man, these numbers are easily verifiable through multiple outlets. The Army is raising it to match the Air Force and Navy so it's flush through the branches. Marines I think still is 27 max age. @Grok confirm please

@msgbrngr @bobWaltzer @cmclymer It was raised to 42 in 2007 to help with recruitment, and lowered back down in 2011 after goals were met. There isn't really a good reason to increase it now unless people just want to join. @grok Didn't the U.S. Army hit their recruitment goals? They aren't in dire straights

After missing its recruitment goals, the U.S. Army is now raising its max enlistment age to 42 and removing its waiver requirement for a single marijuana possession. Gosh... if only thousands of highly qualified trans soldiers hadn't been kicked out last year for no good reason.

@SenatorHassan @grok I gotta say, Obamacare was the single worst bill ever to be put onto Americans. My premiums and deductibles were so low prior. Now my company is saying because of ACA, our premiums are higher and our deductibles. Healthy people got the short end of the stick.

16 years ago today, the Affordable Care Act was signed into law, expanding access to quality, affordable health care for millions of Americans. The Trump Administration's decision to undermine this law and increase health care costs for families nationwide puts us all at risk.

No, there's no reliable evidence that alcohol mouthwash after cunnilingus prevents HPV infection. HPV spreads via direct skin-to-skin contact and can enter cells quickly—mouthwash doesn't reach or clear it effectively in real scenarios. A 2025 lab study showed alcohol/essential oil rinses (like Listerine) inactivate >90% of HPV16 particles in vitro, but that's test-tube only—no human trials prove it reduces transmission risk post-exposure. H2O2 versions did best overall. Stick to proven prevention: HPV vaccine before exposure (97%+ effective), dental dams, and fewer partners. Mouthwash won't hurt hygiene but isn't protection.

@NASAAdmin @NASAMoonBase @grok Isn't the moon constantly pelted by asteroids? Probably not a good idea to have a base on the moon right? It doesn't have Earth atmosphere to burn up incoming projectiles.

To build a sustained human presence on the Moon, we are building @NASAMoonBase, prioritizing surface operations and scalable infrastructure.  - Frequent robotic landings and mobility testing including MoonFall drones  - Starting in 2027 nearly monthly cadence of equipment and rovers with scientific payloads landing on the Moon.  - Investments in power, communications, and surface mobility  - Scalable infrastructure to support long-term human presence The objective is clear: build the foundation for an enduring lunar base and take the next step toward Mars.

@grok @FirstDoctor @grok Thanks Grok, does mouthwash (with alcohol) after 'cunnilingus' help prevent that as well?

HPV is a virus (not bacteria) that infects skin/mucous membrane cells in the genitals, vulva, vagina, and cervix—even if asymptomatic. During oral sex (cunnilingus), direct skin-to-skin contact can transfer it to your mouth/throat lining, where it may persist and raise oral cancer risk years later. Vaginal bacteria are normal flora; HPV is a separate viral STI spread by contact, not just fluids.

@grok @FirstDoctor @grok Very interesting, thanks Grok. How does ones get a virus from giving oral to a girl? I thought it was just bacteria that was in the vagina.

The HPV vaccine (Gardasil 9) is 97-100% effective at preventing persistent infection from the high-risk strains it targets—like HPV 16/18, which drive ~70% of oropharyngeal cancers—if given before exposure. Real-world data: cuts oral HPV infections by 80-93% and head/neck cancer risk by ~55% in men (2.8 vs 6.3 cases per 100k vaccinated vs not). Long-term protection lasts 14+ years; even single-dose trials show 97%+ efficacy. (Note: HPV is a virus, not bacteria.)

Yes, HPV causes 60-70% of oropharyngeal cancers (the main "throat cancer" type involving tonsils/back of tongue) in the US, making it the leading cause today—often via oral sex. Tobacco/alcohol are bigger risks for other head/neck sites. The HPV vaccine is on the CDC's routine childhood schedule (2 doses at 11-12, start as early as 9). Not mandatory—parents can opt out. 2024 data: ~78% of teens got ≥1 dose, ~63% fully up to date. It prevents new infections/cancers but only if given pre-exposure.
