It all makes me wonder if at one point Ryujin will do something “Ahn-like” (something unforgivable) for love (for Sayeon) and then she will not be able to look at Ahn without seeing herself?

Both characters are centered on love. One does everything for love, the other wants revenge for love. Ahn’s devotion to Sang. Ryujin’s allegiance to Sayeon. Sang who parallels Sayeon (both have trauma over someone called Baek).

#handjumper “What was your love worth?” This conversation between Ahn and Ryujin in episode 48 is very interesting. Like why does Sleepy let us discover this lore about Ahn from Ryujin’s point of view? It makes me think Ryujin and Ahn have been set up as parallels/foils?

Sleepy has admitted that she like gods that can be "tricked, influenced, resisted, and killed", so I don't think Well Godling is all knowing, but I do wonder what it's abilities are exactly and what limits they have?

Meaning it isn't watching Sayeon all the time? That it can't just "see" whatever it wants at all times?

#handjumper 120 Hmm here when the godling says "As deeply as the blade"? Is it a figure of speech? Or is it implying that the godling didn't know? And just assumed it was by a blade?

It can supossedly tell what will happen in advance (current events), yet sayeon becoming worthy of their attention was a surprise. Did that power really weaken due to their trading, making it so they can glance a few hours ahead at most?

@shouohime They don't have to be the same, but usually they are at least similar in some way to their parent. The leading theory for the Lee family is that Samin is time-stop, and Sara is future sight. So together they are past, present and future.

I’d be pretty sad if Samin and Sara had the same abilities as Sayeon, I was anticipating some cool new stuff! 😔😔 Maybe we’ll get info on Sara’s relic though and possibly its altered Sara’s gift quite a bit. 👀

Correct me if I’m wrong but wouldn’t Samin and Sara’s gifts be the same or something very similar to Sayeon’s if we consider the aberrants and their parents that we’ve seen so far? I’m pretty sure the Gyeon family all have the same abilities and moves and so did Ryujin and Raon.

@Bythepower85874 It could yes. it could show that the hidden side of jaeil might not be seen through her rose-tinted glasses, just like jinhee (cult girl) doesn't see the dark side of the cult. meaning the cult and jaeil might be parallels this arc?

@afycy_ @Bythepower85874 @izukoat honestly i think this is likely to happen. in ep 48 i always thought it was interesting that ahn and ryujin seemed to be set up as parallels/foils. Both focused on love. Sang parallels sayeon in some ways.

My Sayeon Formula -> Sayeon KNOWS all (most) (some) of her faults, Sayeon WANTS to become a better person, but she DOESNT understand how to effectively do that, so 1 + 1 - ♾️ = -♾️
