@NFRS_DCFO Are there any plans to upgrade the control room? Notwithstanding the skill and competency of the FCOP’s that work there, the space looks cramped and dated and lacking on modern resources that are common in many fire control rooms around the country.

Just enjoyed impeccable hospitality from Ross @HiltonGlasgow this evening. Engaging, hospitable and just knew how to look after people after a long day on the road. Thank you Ross 👏🏼

@stevedude68 Same here Steve. Jumped from £580 and renewal was over £1,200. Best I could get elsewhere was £880…. Maddening!

Car insurance!!! Two years ago, when the car was brand new, I paid £677 which I thought was steep for a 53yo with full NCD and no C&C’s. £879 last year. Renewal today… £1203!! Two years older, more NCD and the car is now less valuable. Best I can find elsewhere is £980 🤬🤬😵‍💫
