Are we teaching maths upside down? 🤔 Have we got curriculum design completely backwards? We usually think subjects like calculus are the ultimate challenge. Dr Kent Johnson and Andrew Kieta completely disagree. They argue that complex concepts are actually the easy part. The real challenge is mastering the foundational tool skills. If you build genuine fluency in the basics then the advanced stuff comes almost for free. It is a massive shift in thinking, but it makes perfect sense when you see how Morningside Academy guarantees student progress. Watch the clip and let me know if you agree in the comments!
