@WatershedEcol At Rice we’re also testing the waters of virtual classes and (from a student perspective) it’s been much more comfortable. The best thing: not having to go through the separation anxiety of leaving your pets alone at home all day 😂

First synchronous lecture delivered via Zoom! About 1/3 of (n=53) students attended live (gave class the option of just watching recording). Went very well! Nobody wanted to actually talk...but they answered & interacted via chat. 😅Best thing: I didn't forget to hit record!😅
