The Iran war was never about oil for the United States. We import roughly 8% of oil through the strait of Hormuz. Thus the blockage is not a direct impact on the United States. Rather, it’s a twist to force our supposed allies to buy our oil. They now have to pay a toll, well if you buy American oil, it’s probable that you won’t pay a toll. Asia is the largest consumer of oil from the strait.

BREAKING 🚨🚨 Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has requested US President Donald Trump to extend the Iran deadline by two weeks, amid ongoing mediation efforts. "Diplomatic efforts for peaceful settlement of the ongoing war in the Middle East are progressing steadily, strongly and powerfully with the potential to lead to substantive results in near future. To allow diplomacy to run its course, I earnestly request President Trump to extend the deadline for two weeks. Pakistan, in all sincerity, requests the Iranian brothers to open Strait of Hormuz for a corresponding period of two weeks as a goodwill gesture. We also urge all warring parties to observe a ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to achieve conclusive termination of war, in the interest of long-term peace and stability in the region."

Iran wants to control the Strait of Hormuz and charge a fee until they get compensated for war damages Sounds like a fair deal to me! Trump should take it and avoid a global humanitarian and economic catastrophe tomorrow The U.S. barely even uses the strait. It’s actually the rest of the world that ends up footing the bill for Trump’s war Sounds like a good deal for both Trump and Iran!

The campaign is named "Human Chain of Iranian Youth for a Bright Future." Its slogan: "attacking public infrastructure is a war crime." International signage will be displayed for global media coverage. At least 2,000 NGO members are confirmed. The chains form 13 hours before Trump's 8 PM ET strike deadline. Iran is gathering civilians at the exact infrastructure the US has threatened, and televising it to the world.
