Sometimes we forget that love is not about obligations, it’s about willingness. A healthy relationship is a two-way street. The things your partner does for you are not always things they have to do, but things they choose to do out of care, love, and consideration.
As women, sometimes we can unintentionally fall into a space of entitlement, expecting certain acts as proof of love, instead of appreciating the effort behind them. Not every gesture has to be grand to be meaningful. The fact that someone consistently tries, shows up, provides comfort, or thinks about your happiness already says a lot.
Instead of always focusing on what’s missing, we should also learn to acknowledge what is being done. Appreciation keeps love warm. Constant complaining can make genuine effort feel unseen.
A little gratitude in a relationship goes a long way.🤍
