@MG_Dynasty @BahnerFFett @DynastyOuthouse i dont know where this conversation went. the point was to have either a league vote or 1 commissioner decide what is fair. i completely agree that my version of fair is different. thats why i dont think 1 commissioners view of fair should be the only view that counts.

@ntwall @BahnerFFett @DynastyOuthouse The two people making the trade are the ones who decide whether it's fair or not. Their player opinions are the only ones that matter since it's their teams. Anybody can present evidence of collusion then the league or commish deals with it by removing owners.

league voted vetoes are collusion. other teams in the league should not be able to decide how owners handle their teams. if someone is cheating the commissioner can take care of it. #NeverVeto

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse @MG_Dynasty You do. You decide by staying in the league or quitting. It’s your choice to own a team or not. It is not your job to force others to conform to what you want outside of what is included in the bylaws. If league breaking owners get invited back, then you quit. It’s easy.

@BahnerFFett @DynastyOuthouse @MG_Dynasty last time i try to explain this. if no evidence, WHO figures out if an owner sucks, if the trade is bad, if there was collusion etc.. that is the entire point of this conversation. who decides what and if that is fair or not.

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse @MG_Dynasty Evidence, not a person. There needs to be evidence of collusion. Beyond that, if an owner sucks so badly that they hurt the league, don’t invite them back next year. Or leave the league yourself. Owners only get to control one team, not the entire league.

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse @MG_Dynasty Here’s your answer, and it’s pretty cut and dry. Commissioners don’t get to veto trades either. If there is collusion, the two owners involved get kicked out, the players go back to their respective teams, and new owners are found.

@TinMan_Jones @DynastyOuthouse you refund the money to a bad owner? or refund the winnings back to league considering the bad owner gave a someone a stacked team?

@TinMan_Jones @DynastyOuthouse im in leagues with both and commish a league. the point is not trusting a group census but trusting one persons opinion is not logical

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse You're just trying to attack this method, but a lot of people like it and it works. If you have a problem with it, don't join one of those leagues. But the people in my leagues are happy with my setup

@TinMan_Jones @DynastyOuthouse right so in the middle of the poker game you tell someone they have to leave because they arent' on par with the rest of the players?

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse Ths evaluation has nothing to do with cheating, like you said, someone just isn't on par with the rest.

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse I mean people inherently vote for what helps them most. It's not really anything I fault people for, but that's why I find it better for me to be commish and be unbiased. But to each their own. There are tons of leagues with tons of different setups. Find what you like

@TinMan_Jones @DynastyOuthouse evaluated. im seeing what these dynasty leagues are becoming with some of these owners. its like someone having a poker night where they are in the game but they can decide how to "evaluate" players and decide who is cheating or not. no good homie.

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse Then the weaker owner should be evaluated. If someone is that bad, maybe they don't belong in that league. It happens

@TinMan_Jones @DynastyOuthouse right thats what im saying. you cant say you dont trust other players in the league but trust the commish. maybe people should leave a league where they dont trust the majority of the league.

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse That's the role of the commish. If you have a bad commish, leave. It's their role to be unbiased. Some leagues even have commissioners that simply don't participate as an owner, just act as commissioner. Maybe join one of those.

@TinMan_Jones @DynastyOuthouse i think im just from a different place. i usually trust people, but the argument that you should trust one person over the collective opinion of 11, all with equal interest in a league just doesnt make sense.

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse It's been 3 years now, and I have several leagues, all still going strong. And if you can't trust the commish, you seriously should just leave the league and find one where you do trust the commish.

@TinMan_Jones @DynastyOuthouse in a trade players change teams, league changes. if the commish has a team the commish has their own interest in the league so why do they get the only vote? its not logical, saying the entire league would vote based on bias because they are trying to win but this 1 person wont.

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse The premise is you're not forcing someone who is trying to win to also have to vote based on collusion and not their own interest. And I'm talking about trade handling. In cases of rule changes, they occur in offseasons and most I handle I have the league vote for/against change

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse Trusting 1 person is relatively easy. If you believe they break that trust, leave. If you can't trust anyone, be the commish yourself for a league. Problem solved. You're welcome

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse What? Lol all trades are passed unless there is suspected collusion. If so, investigation occurs. I don't have to think a trade is fair for it to not be collusion. Bad trades happen. If you have a problem trusting 1 or 2 people, idk how you trust 10 to vote

@TinMan_Jones @DynastyOuthouse two is worse, that means two guys who both have teams in the league can make all the decisions. i guarantee you me and you wouldnt agree on every trade, but i have to eat because you are the commish. its at the very least sketchy

@ntwall @DynastyOuthouse If you're in a league where you trust the commish (or 2 in this case), this isn't a problem. If you're in a league where you don't trust the commish, you should seriously consider leaving. Sounds like your problem is you need to find someone you can trust to be commish.
