When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

Highland League Statement The Scottish Highland Football League is delighted to announce that Invergordon FC has been formally invited to join the league for the forthcoming season 2026/27. This invitation follows Invergordon FC’s successful fulfilment of all criteria required for entry to Tier 5 of Scottish Football, marking a significant milestone for the club and for football in the Highlands. With there no longer being any mathematical possibility of any team in the catchment area being relegated from the SPFL, it was agreed by the League Management Committee that they were prepared to move forward with either 17 or 18 teams, dependant on teams being successful with their endeavours for promotion. This being the case, the Scottish Highland Football League agreed that there was no requirement to progress with the Pyramid Play off and that, given Invergordon FC had met all the criteria, had gained the right to be given the opportunity to progress through the pyramid. Sandy Sinclair, President of the Scottish Highland League, said ‘with Invergordon FC’s entry, the landscape of the Highland League continues to evolve. With Elgin City gaining the required points, there will now be no possibility of a club being relegated into the Highland League from a higher division, ensuring stability for existing member clubs. In addition, Brechin City will be moving to the Scottish Lowland League should they not secure promotion, further balancing the structure of the national football pyramid – we wanted to make a decision as soon as possible given the changing dynamics within the pyramid structure at Tier 5, however whilst there was a possibility of increased numbers through relegation from the SPFL, it was not possible. That is no longer a concern and we can look forward with optimism and positivity for what this next chapter in the Scottish Highland League will bring’. The Highland League’s decision reflects a commitment to rewarding clubs that demonstrate ambition and meet strict entry standards, while supporting the continued growth of competitive football across Scotland. The inclusion of Invergordon FC is expected to bring fresh energy and increased competition, as well as strengthen community ties within the region. Further details on fixtures and league arrangements will be announced in due course. The League would like to congratulate Invergordon FC on their achievement and welcome them to the next chapter in Scottish football history.

@LauraLoomer I used to be extremely bothered by babies screaming behind me on planes. There was one behind me on my 5 hour flight to Portland yesterday. But at this point, I’m just happy to see *Americans* having babies, so I got over it. We need more White American babies.

Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane? I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?
