I don’t recall attaching that much importance to what you write to call it irresponsible. But you appear to have carried it around for years so maybe I did 🤷‍♂️ I’ll keep it in mind when I’m confronted with next articles, rather than rolling my eyes , I’ll recognise my good fortune to be availed of such insight.

A few years ago, on air, you called my reporting of Derby's takeovers "irresponsible" because I cast serious doubt on the credentials of Erik Alonso & Chris Kirchner in the Mail. It wasn't easy exposing those guys when so many wanted it to be true. Some of it was pretty nasty. But because they spoke to your station (and because your default setting is "media nonsense") you were taken for a ride by them. Who was "irresponsible" then, eh? What I'm saying is, take the blinkers off, especially as you spend so much of your time debating & opining on brilliant stories broken by newspaper journalists.
