@Banjo34_ @fujodemon It absolutely is that. Because they can't make art they believe they can get revenge by stealing a facsimile of it. And because they can't and won't tell the difference between poor quality and good quality, they get excited by the prospect of just removing their competition.

I think the reason AI slop looks so bad isn't because it looks low quality (although it frequently does), but because it's the result of a mind completely bereft of ideas and talent, yet drunk on the 'power' of being able to instruct the computer to vomit on command.
