@brodenholland I’ve gone pure starlink. Minis for machinery/vehicle and the permanent one for house. Would have been rooted without it last yr or so. Had a repeater that worked well until 3G was turned off and it was a 4g repeater

One man and his company has done more for the telco industry in 2 years than they have in 20, thank you Telstra for doing something that will help thousands.
I'm very excited for the future which I hope, data will be included to help businesses out of major centres run their business

We're excited to announce a new collaboration with SpaceX's @Starlink to bring Satellite-to-Mobile text messaging to our customers in Australia. This will enable us to provide better coverage from coast to coast, especially for those in rural and remote areas.
English

@Starlink Can’t trust this mob. Ordered a deal for $399 and $50 a month cause I’m a valued home customer and they still charging me $80 a month 🤷♂️
English

@Nyscat Biggest scam. I’ve had 2 major surgeries and was more expensive to be private. All for a newspaper everyday. Both times excess was $500 for the anethatist and if I went public was gonna be nothing
English

@brodenholland It’s a lot easier when the season has been kind. People lose interest when they can’t buy a rain

Great to see Ag X (formally twitter) starting to thrive a bit again. I encourage anyone who reads alot of posts but doesn't post much themselves, just post your thoughts and or opinions, more we chat discuss and share the more we move forward and gain knowledge. There will always be jealousy, haters and whingers but don't worry about that what goes around comes around and we all have good and bad times. No need to suppress the good just coz we may offend others. Happy harvest, spraying and Christmas

@nullaboo48 Yep got one couple weeks ago unreal just a mini on Roam they are on sale at the moment $299 I am pretty sure. An just get these bits an plug straight in to ya sig lighter 👌🏽

English

@srkehancock_sam @moroney_luke Oh nice. Well they have a mini special out now $299 and $50 a month. Think it’s cause I have it on the house already from what the email said. Cheers mate. I am def in need. Telstra can eat a big fat one 🤬
English

@moroney_luke @nullaboo48 Oh come on Luke I wouldn’t say guru.. I am a happy customer tho, nullaboo48 I’m running a normal system from what I understand. I didn’t know about the minis when I bought this through beam me up technologies. I’m using the $80/month 50gb roam plan and will pause when not using

@MattMcDonald013 Seems like the greed of some farmers around the state. Some of the asking price For seed is absurd. Just greed. What happened to farmers helping farmers 🤦🏽♂️ instead of sinking boots in
English

@HoolyMcg Was only a tonne crop. Not like you’re windrowing haha
English

@nullaboo48 Sown and watered at the same time
English

@HoolyMcg I’ve said this for yrs. Keep sowing rates down and let the plants do what they do. Canola plants grow like mallee trees if you let them.
English

@lockrey_tony Grown much more than I’d expect. Frost has taken a lot out but a hail storm also took out a lot a month ago. Testing yr but we should make enough to go again 🤪
English

@nullaboo48 Very tough year for your patch this year Tim. Moree had an almost complete air swing in 2019 with 97mm for the year. Have you managed to grow anything? Where we got a strike and linked to stored moisture a few blokes grew 1-2t/ha. We had 3 black frosts mid June too.
English

@MichaelHCOU I didn’t word that very well. Every inch of stored moisture was worth 3 times an inch that fell in the growing season
English

@nullaboo48 Yep we have stony ground and didn't think it would store moisture that well. In 2015 we had a couple of bays we irrigated in oct 2014 that yielded over a tonne more/ ha in a drought.
Was a valuable lesson
English

@BaldurBarons No worries. Thanks heaps for that mate. I’ll pass this info on. Much appreciated 🍻🍻
English

@nullaboo48 It’s probably just steel. But brass colours. I’m assuming it’s for the magnetic sensor to pick up that it’s spinning. It’s just threaded into the bearing with a bolt. Our bolt came out and we lost it
English

@BaldurBarons Oh rightio. Thankyou for that. I’ll pass that on to the mechanic in the morning. 👌🍻
English

@nullaboo48 Nope sorry. There a little brass thing connected to the bearing. And it runs beside the sensor to tell it it’s spinning. Ours was gone once and it took us awhile to figure out why it wouldn’t unload
