#ASCIS2023 Mr. @khathumashau, Founder and Executive Director of @nunnovation, highlighted a critical challenge facing Africa—a 'stomach economy era' where opportunities are pursued without clear alignment with genuine needs. Mashau stressed the pivotal role of imparting youth with the right skills for Smart Cities development and cautioned against misdirected priorities. He called upon leaders to deeply understand Africa's true needs and take concrete steps to align education and workforce development with these needs, emphasizing the urgency of this alignment for the continent's future prosperity.

"This summit is a call to action, requiring our active participation in sessions, discussions, and contributing ideas that shape the future of our generation," said His Lordship @PudenceR, Mayor of @CityofKigali. "The progress we seek depends on our collective commitment to innovation and collaboration. We hold the key to the future of smart cities."
