Just wanted to take a moment to say a HUGE congratulations and thank you to every single person who helps make @ThisisRiverside Radio what it is. Last night at the @CommRadioAwards Riverside Radio received more nominations than any other station in the UK, seven in total! That’s a phenomenal achievement and a true sign of the incredible work happening across our station every single day. We also achieved: Silver – Digital Content (Joey Cook & team) Silver – News, Journalism and Factual Storytelling (led by @CamHall0211) Bronze – Presenter of the Year - Man @dandraper__ This is truly something to be proud of. While we may not have clinched a gold this year, I genuinely believe what we do at Riverside is second to none. Our output, our creativity, our passion, and our commitment to serving South West London and empowering volunteers is outstanding. We make a real difference to our listeners, to our community, and to each other. We are a big London station with a large volunteer base, and we don’t always fit the traditional mould of community radio. Sometimes it can feel like stations from London are held to an even higher bar. But I see that as a testament to just how exceptional we have to be and how exceptional we ARE. We don’t just meet the standard, we consistently exceed it. And that’s exactly what all of the Riverside Radio team do, day in and day out. Jason x
