@piersmorgan Taking your top off to reveal your sports bra is a woman’s game, as no man can replicate that. To women this is called “empowering.” I assume this is at the expense of men? Far too often people appear to be looking for drama…silly really.

I’m outraged & disgusted that Graeme Souness used the words ‘man’s game’ when talking specifically about an incident in a man’s game played by two teams of men. Especially when we’ve all spent the past few weeks talking about the ‘women’s game.’

@DailyMailUK Love him or loathe him he’s entitled to a holiday, (two even) but I bet you a pound to a pinch of salt his holiday is a little different to ours, which in the main are stress free. I don’t think his are somehow!

@nuttymillions @JuliaHB1 Years ago a national water grid was talked about. Somewhere gathering dust is the paperwork. However it did mean that the Scottish lochs would be the feed. So perhaps it is just as well it didn’t get off the ground, just imagine Nicola turning off the taps out of sheer spite.

We must protect water. Why not lock it in its home for months and then only allow it to have a pint while standing up and eating a Scotch egg? That might work.

@RobTrent66 I think the football aficionado’s will understand what their supporter’s are going through. A 30-year drought wasn’t very nice, and who’s to say how long the gap will be this time. Football is the most frustrating of sports from a supporter’s perspective.

Lib Dems and Labour say stop the energy bills going up. They think they can make energy companies supply at a loss. Taxpayers presumably would pick up the bill for any bankruptcies and supply interruptions.That would make the energy crisis worse.

@nuttymillions @JuliaHB1 I don't think we need desalination plants just more water capture and storage. I don't recall us ever having a problem in our area since Kielder reservoir was built.

@johnredwood Farming methods contribute towards the problem as well.

Stopping people using as much water as they want is necessity from bad policy. It's not green. It is killjoy. It's bad for livelihoods. We need more water capacity so when it's hot we can fill the paddling pools and water the garden. Farmers need more water to grow our food.
