A Black 12Y/o kid will be in handcuffs &sit behind a police vehicle before a White56Y/o Adult. The reason is "you fit the description". How does that Black 12Y/o kid move on in life psychologically? This is why we speak, this is why it’s not okay to say "I don’t see colour"

Our hearts break for the families who lost loved ones in the tragic plane and helicopter crash at DCA. Michelle and I send our prayers and condolences to everyone who is mourning today, and we’re grateful to the first responders who are doing everything they can to help under extremely difficult circumstances.

@robinlundberg @RyanRuocco Perhaps you could start by shedding as much importance to the other by asking both how it feels playing with each other. Asking that question to only Reese is as if it’s not an honour for CC to play with Reese as well. You media people are the ones pushing foolish narrative.

What Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are both doing is tremendous. Hating on either is foolish.

I said "as a Black woman" -You see why it’s not okay to say "I don’t see colour?". Rather, what you do with that knowledge of "seeing" is what Humanises or Dehumanises "colour" when used to identify or describe a person/group. Here’s a book- White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo.

What description of a criminal could this kid have fit? Just being Black? Dear reader, as a parent, passerby, sibling, reading this how do you advise this kid to move on in life from this? "Like it never happened" As a Black woman I’d say to him-It could happen again this evening.

@GeeScottSr Key Word "around" not IN. Also just like saying to a designer why wear your own brand? Do you hear yourself or you thought this could bring him down? Smh 🤣

@Eagles_Lair @jordyvotes *For me,myself & my body*I inserted that for U seeing that U omitted it.Your body is not someone else’s even though u are a woman behind this PP. U as a woman should hv no say over other women’s bodies. The audacity extended to most of us by society is not an Excuse.

@jordyvotes Really?! I'm not sure that abortion should be a casual birth control method. It should be a method of last resort and not an ubiquitous way of life. It is too serious a decision to be acted out nonchalantly. It should be reserved for extreme circumstances. Although ...

I really wish people would stop drastically using the scenarios of rape or incest as the sole premise for an abortion. A woman doesn’t have to be in a traumatic situation for it to be reason enough. In fact there is zero explanation that needs to be given.

@ImALittleBitShi @BaeTheBlogger 2/2 Rape crimes are surly ⬆️.Men who do not know how to positively receive NO. This is a green light."You have no choice go have my baby.Stuck with me for life". Survivors are stigmatised for calling out their abusers &now I just wonder. What’s the calculated outcome eventually?

@ImALittleBitShi @BaeTheBlogger Imagine your rapist’s family trying to sue you while he’s "probably" yet to to go to jail. I can’t even begin to imagine this. What’s next?Rape would legal? If you want to tie down a woman just rape her she’s got no choice but to have your baby and be stuck with you for life.1/1

Across the country, parents are putting their children to bed, reading stories, singing lullabies—and in the back of their minds, they’re worried about what might happen tomorrow after they drop their kids off at school, or take them to a grocery store or any other public space.

@sportsiren ☕️🫖 Let them fight! SAs are now getting the pay they deserve and coaches can’t chew and swallow the idea that NIL or not influences where a player decides to go. Isn’t pay and contract a deciding factor for coaches? Why should SAs be different?¿ #PaythemNow
