@Nickmarsh99 Something important to mention. Porn = bad, sure, but ejaculation = good. The number one cancer plaguing men is prostrate cancer. There’s many studies showing that prostate cancer risks can be reduced through consistent ejaculation and I think it’s worth mentioning in this post.

Most diabolical thing I've witnessed in my life is the rise of pornography. Last year, they did $100 billion in revenue globally. Here's the thing with porn - it won't kill you like drugs, disease or cancer will.. but it tarnishes your soul. Porn reaps your vitality -Porn/masturbation/orgasm combo leads to elevated prolactin levels, which suppresses your sex hormones. -It domesticates you, turns you docile. Don’t sacrifice your sperm for porn. Porn kills passion for life -Prolactin also blocks dopamine and reduces your motivation to do anything. Over time, it becomes one of the only thing to satisfy your dopamine cravings (over real sex!) Porn induces lustful thoughts, destroys self-confidence -You start viewing people as sex objects instead of viewing them as people with emotions, personality, values. You get caught lustfully staring at people at the gym, beach, etc. -This makes dating life much harder because you don’t know how to have conversations or build connections with the opposite sex. Porn destroys relationships -Your brain doesn’t know the difference between masturbation via porn vs sex in real life. -It diminishes your desire to pursue a husband/wife because of lowered sex drive (via prolactin) AND your brain thinks you’re already having sex/procreating. -It’s puts emphasis on the pleasure, while minimizing the importance of the deeper emotional & spiritual connection of sex. Can lead to feud/divorce. -Pleasure aspect also welcomes hookup culture, letting any and everybody you find physically attractive have access to your physical, emotional & spiritual temple. It all comes at a cost. -Anecdotally makes you more irritable, impatient. Noticed this first hand when I’ve been around people after watching porn in the past. Don’t fully understand why other than the dopamine & prolactin. Porn is manipulative -Many instances of women (men too) signing up for modeling gigs, only to be tricked into porn shoots. -Porn portrays a lot of Haram acts (incest, sex at work, cheating, polygamy) -Show me a group of rapists and I'll show you a group of people who were exposed to too much hardcore porn (especially in adolescence) Porn removes you from reality -With the rise in Onlyfans, artificial intelligence, virtual reality.. you're constantly being gratified by simulations. -OnlyFans pages are mostly run by dudes who make profit off your horniness. -Go watch Blade Runner 2049 if you want to see the fallout of AI/VR and the effect these "e-girlfriends" can have. Porn’s never been easier to access -Phone, computer, tablet - all just a couple clicks away. -Every social media platform is filled with pornstars and half naked influencers. -Movies & TV shows keep adding more and more sex scenes for no reason other than normalizing porn. Porn has the lowest barrier to access -Common drugs (alcohol, weed, opioids) have at least one barrier to access: cost, legality, availability -Porn has no barriers. Most porn is free, legal in many countries, highly accessible on the internet. - I shed light on this because porn was my worst addiction. I never struggled with substance addictions like alcohol, nicotine, weed, or adderall like my friends did. I thought I didn’t have any addictions for a long time (realized I was more addicted to entertainment via porn, video games, sports). I was first exposed in middle school, and it plagued me through high school and college and beyond. 10+ years. I thought it was “normal” because everyone did it. Happy to have made it through that period and the lessons I learned along the way. If you have any sort of vision you are pursuing in life: -improving health -scaling a business -advancing your career -raising a family -pursuing faith Porn will hold you back from all of these. You might think it won’t but it will. New research is coming out about the long term affects of chronic porn use. Smarter people can explain it better than me. The reality is.. I don’t need research to confirm my beliefs. I just needed to “wake up” and realize that porn contradicts every value I believe and holds me back from achieving every single goal I want to achieve in life. Stop watching porn brother. Save your bloodline.
