It’s exciting to me that the Titans have now been in Nashville long enough to start to have generational fans. Most of the current Titans roster don’t remember a time without NFL football in Nashville. Also, I’ve watched this video like 56 times since Thursday.

@CamCox12 @crissy_froyd this post is so backwards, it’s hilarious. the city of Houston never wanted to invest in the Oilers or give them a real stadium, so they left. plus the Titans have honored the Oilers era for years with the throwback jerseys. ignorance at its finest

Quick lesson. Titans ownership wanted nothing to do with their Houston history. They stabbed the city in the back on their way out and then spent decades trying to bury it and hide it. Now — because nobody wanted to buy their old stuff… they brought back a throwback they spent years trashing. The blue color is from old Houston police cars. Give Houston back its history and come up with something new.

Quick lesson in sports history for people saying the Tennessee Titans “think” they’re the Houston Oilers… They quite literally are and moved to Nashville AS the Houston Oilers before the name change. This is THEIR old color scheme and they’ve simply returned to it.

How bad is the @Titans marketing department? The Titans are on the verge of their biggest fan-facing moment in years, and somehow they’ve made a full rebrand feel small. 1. You’re unveiling a new era in a 4,500-person venue instead of making it feel like a statewide fan event (that won’t even be broadcast whatsoever) 2. The official team store is literally closed on reveal day and doesn’t reopen until Friday AND supposedly the new merch won’t even be available online until tomorrow either 3. The public teaser campaign was basically a patch, a date, and a few billboards. No real build-up, no real fan engagement 4. In 2018, the reveal was a Broadway spectacle and fans could buy jerseys that same night. In 2026, this feels less like a celebration and more like an invite-only corporate presentation How do you fumble the easiest branding layup this franchise has had in years? This should’ve been a SLAM DUNK to start the new league year. Thoughts #Titans fans?
