@triadfeline Hums quietly while still carefully giving belly rubs. Then, one hand goes into his pocket, pulls out a small bag of treats and places some on his hand to hold out for the kitten.

@nyansassassin so he’s observant. but that’s okay, not yet — he won’t show his true form today. they’ve just met after all. tail flicks a little.

watching the 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟 with eerie glowing eyes from the shadows.

@triadfeline „Don’t look at me like that…i know you’re not a kitten.“ He doesn’t stop the belly rubs, doesn’t stop caressing the little head. Sighs. „Just don’t knows what else you are yet…but not an ordinary kitten…“

@nyansassassin not like anyone could ever catch him anyway; bad people are at his mercy — but this man doesn’t need to know that. peering up at him with wide innocent kitty eyes.

@triadfeline He just keeps caressing the kitten, gives gentle belly rubs. Can’t help but let out a soft huff. „Gotta be careful, little one. People could be bad, y‘know…“ his voice is quiet, but he doesnt stop. His camera now rests on the ground next to him.

@nyansassassin bats gently at his hand, purring even louder than before. yess .. belly rubs.

@triadfeline ((🌸 hyuk suspects something. Since he’s able to shift between human form and kitten form himself, he has a hunch das this isnt a normal kitten 🥺👉👈

@triadfeline This is unexpected. Hyuk freezes for a moment, tilts his head. „Aish…you little-“ he doesn’t shoo the kitten away, one hand carefully starts to rub its belly. Gentle. Yet still suspicious.

@nyansassassin at that, he merely releases a content meow, wiggling his little body so that he’s resting on his back, belly exposed. give him belly rubs.

@triadfeline ((🌸 he is so cuuuute 🥺 Hyuk learned to not trust anyone quickly, so this is really huge for him to do actually 🫣😂

@triadfeline glances down at the weight settling in his lap, one hand still moving slowly over the kitten’s back. “…You get comfortable fast.” A faint huff leaves him, not quite annoyed. “Still not convinced you’re anything close to ordinary.“

@nyansassassin he climbs onto the man’s lap without any hesitation, curling up in the cradle between his thighs with continuous low purring. he does like the attention.

@triadfeline He sighs, thinks for a moment, then sits on the ground. Carefully caresses the kitten’s head and then the back. „Hmm…‘ts nice, huh?“ his voice goes soft, knowing how nice such little attention can be sometimes.

@nyansassassin he easily butts his head into the touch, purring softly; he likes this kind of attention instead. bypasses his hand to rub his body against his knees.

@triadfeline Hyuk just stays crouched, a hand reaches out to caress the kitten’s head gently. “You’ve got the wrong kind of stare for something that small.“ he murmurs, not surprised about the image in the Polaroid, amused by the disgruntled meow. He chuckles.

@nyansassassin he pads closer towards the polaroid, two glowing eyes staring back at him and the silhouette of something bigger in the shadows. another disgruntled meow. that’s not him!

@triadfeline „Aish, don’t-„ He crouches down, places the Polaroid he just took on the ground for the kitten to look at. „Here, that’s you when you lurk in the shadows there.“

@nyansassassin a soft meow is the only response. emerges a tiny black kitten, disgruntled at the flash.

@xThruTheLensx “Hobby?” Hyuk echoed, lips curving into a faint smirk. “Not exactly.” He lowered his camera, gaze flicking from her face to the street behind her, then back again. “I take photos for a living. People call me black cat.” A beat. „It’s my-…here.“ Hands her a business card.

@nyansassassin "I'm a model by trade, but I model on the side from time to time. My real passion is behind the camera though." She smiled softly. "So is this a hobby for you?"

Hyuk crouched down to get the perfect angle for a photo, completely ignoring the fact that he was blocking half the sidewalk. Only after taking the shot did he glance up. “What? It was a good frame.”

@xThruTheLensx „Right?!“ He smirks, check the photo once again before lowering his camera. Head tilted, he looks at the woman. „You do photography?“ Hyuk asks, eyeing her up and down, then looks at her eyes again. „Or modelling? You got the aura for that.“

@nyansassassin Rory grinned as she watched. She had done the same thing herself many times, so she understood. "A very good shot. You would have been crazy not to take that opportunity."

Small canon note: Hyuk may choose to stay, but he is not owned. Old familiar instincts make him sensitive to binding magic, ownership marks and anything that feels like a cage.
