i’m under the belief that certain songs should not be remixed… of course we all have free will and can do as we please, but some songs are so good that no remix or reformulation of it will ever supersede the og and even attempting to do so is a renunciation of that simple fact.

@LaidbackLuke Never really saw the point using it when the digital display literally tells you the bpm to the decimal point anyway. Also i feel like it locks me in to the same tempo my whole set, I could hold shift & take it off I guess, but since it's easy without it anyway why bother

I just had a 27 year old explain to me that I wasn’t real DJing. Because I use sync nowadays. I had to remind him that I’ve been a professional DJ for 27 years and that I had perfected beat matching on vinyl 🤷🏽‍♂️ FYI I still don’t watch the wave forms 😅
