Always vigilant, always ready. With pride and professionalism, your 32nd Precinct officers stand watch for all those who live, work, and visit Harlem. Today, we are privileged to support a visit from the King and Queen of the United Kingdom.

Due to today’s royal visit, expect delays and intermittent road closures throughout Manhattan, including Harlem. If you're travelling, allow for extra time and use public transportation when possible.

Today, we added 103 more names to the NYPD’s Hall of Heroes — forever etching their legacies into the history of this department.    When a name is placed here, it joins a line of NYPD members who made the decision to serve this city knowing what that choice could cost them.    These walls signify what that sacrifice has meant across nearly two centuries. Long after assignments change and tours end, these names will stay here as a reminder of what it means to answer this noble calling.     May the memories of these 103 fallen heroes, and of everyone we’ve lost over the years, forever be a blessing.

Too often there are no consequences in the criminal justice system for this type of outrageous behavior. Clearly, it’s time for that to change. My hope and expectation is that Asil Assaidi will be held fully accountable for his actions.

Though we didn’t take home the trophy at the Cop & Kids Basketball Game, everyone’s a winner tonight as we celebrate the ribbon cutting for the newly refurbished Frederick Samuel Community Center basketball court!

Our Q-Team Officers are making the streets of Harlem safer for all who live and work here. This weekend, while making a quality of life related stop, they arrested two subjects in a vehicle with this illegally possessed, defaced firearm.

Mondays are always better knowing our students get to school safely. Meet School Crossing Guard Bonilla, helping keep every step of that journey safe. 🚸 Rain or shine, School Crossing Guards stand post so our kids don’t have to worry. This is what public safety is all about.

TRAVEL BAN NOW IN EFFECT: NYC Roads Closed to Non-Essential Vehicles Heavy snow bands are moving across the city with snowfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour. Additional intense bands will continue overnight, producing near whiteout conditions and rapid snow accumulation. Strong winds are increasing, visibility is collapsing, and travel conditions are becoming dangerous to impossible. Conditions can turn life threatening quickly. ⚠️ NYC roads are now closed to non-essential vehicles. Stay off the roads and give emergency and snow plow crews room to safely operate.
