Day 25 of creating a laptop from scratch so there is no connector to handle the current for 2S2P configuration (about 10-15A) so i have to redo it again to be a purely series connection of 4S and if there is space i will make double the cells to 8S or 10S also you're dear windows does not have a GPU driver for the Mali G610-MP4

Day 24 of creating a laptop from scratch No images today...yet I am changing my BMS and Fuel guage system to work for 4/5S batteries probably only 4s of the 6060100 battery can fit into the laptop at around 2S2P

Day 23 of creating a laptop from scratch I added the PCF85063ATL/1,118 CMOS Real-Time Clock (RTC), the system to always be on via the Always-on 3V3 line and the CMOS battery through the BAT54CW to detect and automatically switch to the line with the higher voltage i also fixed many other minor errors with the RK806-1 PMIC

@nzevh_ I’m working on a whole new computing paradigm based on my 3D cellular automata. A lattice based computational style.

Day 22 of creating a laptop from scratch I just added a dedicated power connector for the AUO B160ZAN01.U, it uses up to 30W here, so the first FPC connector will not be able to handle it I also created the 3d model of the display, since the manufacturer and suppliers have decided to paywall it I'll create the 3d model of the initial body design by tommorow stay tuned

If you are is still using micro USB sockets in your PCB design you should be banned from using KiCad or any other PCB design software

@nzevh_ Great choice! There are probably a few other electromechanical parts from Framework Laptop 13 that would be easy to integrate.

@blind_via there are multiple chips with BGA pins, so i'll probably use a 10-12 layer pcb L1 High-frequency signal L2 GND L3 Medium-frequency signal L4 GND L5 GND L6 Power L7 GND L8 Power L9 GND L10 Low-frequency signal L11 GND L12 Low-frequency signal
