This little gal is one of my amazing 6th graders. She is the oldest person known to have her type of cancer (Embryonal Tumor with Multilayer Rosettes). It is an incredibly rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. Please read and share her story to spread awareness! #BrainCancer

@teachers_market We started August 1, and our last day is May 25th, I grew up with it, so it's familiar. But our family (in other parts of the country) starts school in September and goes until June, so it would be easier to plan family events

@notbatmanyet I'm so happy to say that ALL of my supplies for next year are donor and teacher funded! Pencil boxes, wipes, tissues, crayons, you name it, we've got it! My kids next year don't need to worry about bringing anything except a backpack (and I even have some of those if needed).

If I see a list and it’s decorations for the classroom, personal items for the Teacher, any type of self-care things, I’m not interested in that. I care about the daily items kids need to do school work. I don’t care about end of the year gifts or party supplies. You pay for that

Someone asked me how am I picking which Teacher gets the $200. I’m looking at your Amazon list. Do you have mostly Basic school supplies that the kids can’t afford from home. Are there items that go directly in the kids hands? Is it more school supplies or more fun stuff?
