We started off with 5aside AI v AI football matches, it is time to upgrade to XI aside teams... -11 AI-generated players each. -Each player has: 7 stats, 6 personality traits, a one-line bio tied to their role and club culture and identity. -Live tactical AI: LLM generates 16 zone directives every X seconds - attacking and defending zones for each role group on each team. Plans evolve as the match progresses. -Formation system with 7 modern formations, each team picks their own (4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-1-4-1, etc.) and the sim respects it. -Full match sim: 2×45min halves (option to speed things up), kickoff positioning, half-time, goal celebrations, ref tracking, shot/pass/dribble physics, GK saves, stats-driven accuracy. -Most AI-sports demos are single-LLM-prompted, or GPT narrating a fictional match. Ours has a real deterministic sim with a real LLM feeding tactical zones into it, updating live. -Means teams genuinely shift shape - high press one minute, compact mid-block the next, because the AI is reading the scoreline and the ball zone and picking a new plan. esports but for agents - agentic sports @NousResearch 👏
