@Famousog5 @Defiquity @OzorNdiOzor Stop thinking like a rat.. Any animal humans eat, the best way to get them is rear them, with that you can be sure of the health instead of going to the wild. Asians farm cockroaches. Crickets, sea turtle and more. You are only crying because a fellow black African is doing it

Oga Bello, Mr Latin, Aluwe, Ogogo, Ajirebi, Ojopagogo, Fali Werepe, Toyin Tomato You don’t see anyone adding Uncle or Aunty to any of these stage names But we added Uncles and Aunties to their real names because we are Yoruba and our culture demanded respect for elders It’s fine if you’re not Yoruba, but if you’re Yoruba and you still question this, then maybe something is wrong with you

Cost of living in Malabo (Equatorial Guinea) is hellish.🙆🤦 They’re literally living 30 years behind Nigeria. SIM cards sell for N10k. 1GB of data costs around N15k. A bottle of Heineken goes for N4k. Calls are charged per minute ( about N5k per minute even for local calls).

@AKakanfo Everyone is here bashing Nigerians for not been competent or lacking some culture.. How are they running the banking sector or are they not Nigerians working in Nigerian banks? If they are Nigerians then what are the banks doing to make them excel even when they employ Nigerians

3 years ago we advertised a position in a company. We had over 300 CVs and applicants. After 300 interviews, we could not select 3 people. I have a friend who built a hotel. He has been looking for manager for 4 years, he has been sacking most of the admin staff due to gross incompetence. If you want to grow your business into world class institutions, you might have to think twice before hiring Nigerians as bulk of your staff. My friends came to Nigeria from Germany and hired staff, they fired people every month till they stopped the company and went to Australia. The Quality of people in the labour market is a beyond joke, it is a disaster out there. They are arrogant, lazy, entitled and highly indisciplined. They will even be telling you that you should understand now that they forgot to do their job. It’s a mess! If you want to build a world class institution make sure the top management are not majority Nigerian youths because they will destroy your company and dreams.

“To The Moniepoint CEO Tosin Eniolorunda, That’s a Very Stupid And Myopic Statement You Made. A Big Shame On You. Can You Pay Nigerians Global Standard Rates Since You Want Nigerians To Provide Global Standard Work For You In Nigeria? Can You Pay Nigerians The Same Way The Chinese Government Pays Their People In China? The Harsh Environment, Harsh Policies, And Harsh Economy In Nigeria Is To Be Blamed For Nigerians’ Inefficiency, Not Nigerians Themselves.”

What a disgusting and distasteful post, Kled has paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars to people for voluntarily contributing their data. We don't force people to do anything they don't fully consent to. We are the only app on the planet that instead of stealing your data pays you for it. Shameful post.

I unironically support the alleged Nigerian scammers in this case. A startup whose premise is to pay poor people to submit their photos and data and use it to train AI models that will inevitably be turned into weapons or tools that destroy livelihoods so that a defense contractor in Silicon Valley can have 3 yachts instead of 2, is a startup I wish death upon. I hope the Yahoo Boys get around this rudimentary IP ban and continue what they're doing until they make this startup insolvent or render its AI model unusable.
Avi Patel@avipat_

We have removed Kled from the Nigerian app store and IP banned the entire region. The first thing I would like to say is I have nothing against Nigeria. I have a ton of friends from this region and these were some of our earliest app adopters. Genuinely, thank you all for the support. Kled has been up and running and out of beta for 4 months now. We have paid out hundreds of thousands of people for their data, and our users have uploaded over 1 billion assets onto our platform. After several months of uploads we found that Nigeria had a ≈95% fraud rate. Instead of real, usable data, users were uploading pictures of black screens, duplicate photos, internet generated images, AI generated images, etc. at an unimaginable scale. In comparison, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines have a less than 10% fraud rate across 10x the userbase size. Our fraud system is fast to catch these issues but the level of complexity of these schemes is getting out of hand. This weekend we were flooded with thousands of fake Japanese passports and identity cards with Nigerians photoshopped onto them in our KYC system. That was the final straw. As a startup we can't afford to eat the costs of that data overhead, so we temporarily removed the app from the region while we improved our fraud detection and banning system to quickly filter out bad actors when the time is right. On top of all of this, every time we make a post there is someone asking us to bring the region back within seconds. We hear you, but it's gotten out of hand. We've made this decision with great care. We love everyone who has genuinely supported Kled from Nigeria, and we hope to return when the time is right. -Kled Team

In May 2016, a, tragic incident occurred in the Barmer district of Rajasthan, India, where a man named Urjaram was killed by his camel. The man, named Urjaram, had an event and was attending to his guest. He had forgotten about his camel which he had tied in the scorching sun, throughout the day. When he remembered in the evening, he went to untie the camel that had endured about 43°C, according to reports. When he got there, the animal, enraged by the prolonged neglect and heat, attacked him. The camel grabbed him by the neck, and room all his head in its mouth. It then threw him to the ground, and started chewing and biting round his neck, till he severed his head. It took about 25 villagers roughly six hours to calm the animal down. NOTE: Camels can hold grudges and are known to become violent if abused or severely neglected. Thank you

The guy circled below is in the last minute of his life. He and the guy in the vest were talking trash to each other, escalating a situation and having an ego battle. What the guy in the red shorts didn’t realize, is that the other guy was armed with a knife. As he goes to tackle the armed man, he is fatally stabbed. The knife severed a major artery and blood poured out of the man’s body. He couldn’t have survived this wound if it happened in a hospital. All because he wanted to get into a fist fight with someone who disrespected him. To the men reading this, especially, getting into a fight with a complete stranger is one of the most dangerous things you could ever do. To you, it might be a fist fight. To them, it might be much more. You win every fight you avoid.

Imagine the man’s mother still crying for justice? Under the Sharia, since the evidence is clear, he would have been tried and, if found guilty, he would be tied and killed in the same way he killed the young man, even without the family seeking retribution. In fact, the judge could order that he be shot in that same spot to show him that he cannot get away with the heinous crime he committed.
