JUSTICE FOR 15 YEAR OLD CYRUS BELTON THE CASE IS NOW UNDERWAY CYRUS WAS KILLED BY A ASIAN STORE OWNER IN COLUMBIA SOUTH CAROLINA FOR SEEMING LIKE HE WAS STEALING A 1 DOLLAR WATER MR CHOW AND HIS SON CHASED THE 15 YEAR OLD DOWN AND SHOT HIM IN THE BACK KILLING HIM OVER A 1 DOLLAR WATER THAT HE NEVER EVEN TOOK Now this story hits home for me Because growing up As a teen this was my hood store I took this walk to the store a million times As a teen and we were always treated as criminals No back packs no hoodies etc Now Cyrus did have a gun on him But he never pulled the gun out He took off running when he was chased By the store owners So he was not a threat to Mr Chow Yet they shot him in the back killing him

Day One of the Karmelo Anthony trial is in the books. I just left the Collin County courthouse. Today was devoted entirely to jury selection, and no other proceedings took place. That said, I have quite a few observations from inside the courtroom and some very descriptive scenes to paint from what I witnessed today.
