We are collaborating with the @workhousearts again this year to bring toys to OAR families at our annual Kidsmas event on December 10th! Help them help us bring a lot of kids some joy this year. Thank you @workhousearts !!!

OAR will observe Veterans Day as well as a Thanksgiving break this month. During that time, the offices will be closed.

This year, OAR has the privilege of abundance to be able to participate in TWO Alternative Gift Markets. As we have in many years past, we will again participate in the @UUReston 's Alternative Gift Market. We very much appreciate their support!

It's Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to bring awareness to this important issue, celebrate survivors, grieve those we’ve lost, and share resources so that others may come out from the shadow of violence and stigma. Find helpful resources at thehotline.org.

Thanks to Lauren Basse, OAR's Fairfax office has a new library for OAR clients: The Mike Malovic Giving Library. It is full of useful books to help keep clients focused on success. Mike Malovic was a long-term OAR supporter, and his daughter honors his memory with this gift.

Our Volunteer Coordinator, Diana representing OAR at the Venture into Volunteering Fair last weekend in Springfield! We love being in our community, sharing the mission, and speaking on the importance of supporting justice-involved individuals and their families.

OAR NOVA's offices will close at 11am tomorrow, Thursday, September 18th, for our Open Golf Tournament. We will reopen on Friday.
