Today the class learned about Marshmallow Farming through news interviews and articles. Then we wrote letters to @obeyteach and @ParkDink to persuade them to plant a marshmallow bush in the @ParkPrideNB garden. AND THEN they learned it was #AprilFoolsDay 🤣

Park Avenue’s School/ Community Garden continues to “Grow to Give.” Yesterday a dedicated group of harvesters picked a HUGE bag of kale and Swiss Chard which was immediately delivered to a LI Cares Food Pantry and will be in the hands of those in need today!@ParkPrideNB @NBUFSD

First graders celebrated the first day of fall by counting our acorn collections by tens. Some collections had 200 acorns!

First Graders enjoyed independent reading outside on the last day of summer. We are building our stamina!
