The main problem right now is this: 1. In my opinion, Valve is intentionally removing the collections to increase the supply. That leads to lower skin prices, making them easier to trade on the Steam Community Market. 2. The newly adjusted drop rate is so bad that buying passes is no longer worth it as an investment. It seems much more targeted at casual players who just want to play and get some skins. That said, I do agree with you. I won’t be buying passes endlessly anymore either, because by doing that we’re only supporting Valve and sending them the message that they made the right decision. If enough people keep buying passes regardless, they’ll probably stick to this new direction when it comes to skins and the market.

@obfcs2 RIP, either way I'm done buying armoury passes. It's clearly not worth it anymore beyond buying cases.

In hindsight, maybe I shouldn't have spent all my 600 stars on this trashy Armory update. If the next Armory case is a terminal, it would've been way better to acquire those and try to open a top tier gold as usually day 1 prices for golds are dirt cheap. 🥲
