It was different growing up in the 90’s and 2000s. Boys and girls read novels and wrote handwritten love letters. People listened to the news and watched meaningful programs on NTA. People took their studies seriously because it was seen as the main path to a better life. Now, with technology and constant distractions, things have changed. Many people hardly read anymore. A lot of time is spent on Instagram, Snapchat, and streaming platforms. Try having a solid conversation with some people today, and you start to wonder what happened. Sometimes, it feels like this generation is missing out on the real beauty of life, even while thinking they’re having fun.

‘Big man, big problem’ is better than being broke. ‘More money, more problems’ is better than not being able to make the next rent. Broke people have broke people’s problems. Rich people have rich people’s problems. Everybody has their own problems. Don't let anybody make you feel that rich people are the bad guys and that they have big problems. If poor man’s problems hit you, you will start asking for the address of Indaboski’s church.

Pep Guardiola’s man management is one of his underrated qualities even if you’re not playing, he still has a way of making you feel important. What Pep does differently is that he gives every player a clear role and purpose. Whether you’re a starter, a rotation option, or even on the fringes, you understand exactly why you’re there. That clarity removes frustration. Players might not always like being benched, but they respect the logic behind it. Look at how he handled someone like Riyad Mahrez at Manchester City. There were periods Mahrez wasn’t starting regularly, but when he came in, he delivered because he was mentally engaged, not detached. Same with John Stones, who went from being inconsistent and almost phased out to becoming a crucial tactical piece in midfield during the treble season. That transformation isn’t just coaching or tactics, it’s trust and communication. Even players who eventually leave often speak highly of him. Gabriel Jesus, for example, wasn’t always first choice, especially when systems changed, but he remained committed and productive. That doesn’t happen if a player feels ignored or undervalued. Pep also rotates heavily, but not randomly. He keeps players emotionally invested. Everyone feels like they’re part of something bigger rather than just filling gaps. That’s why his teams rarely have public dressing room issues despite the competition for places. The flip side is that his demands are intense. If you can’t adapt mentally or tactically, you’ll struggle. But for those who buy in, he creates an environment where even a squad player feels like a key piece of a championship puzzle. He’s mostly play Domestic competition with Rotated players, yet they perform the same, he just have a way around it, and that’s not tactics alone.

Pep Guardiola ran straight to Tijjani Reijnders after Nico González's winner 🤝 The midfielder was substituted just a minute before the goal 🔄

I’m willing to make meaningful donations to any initiative focused on getting more Nigerians to get their PVCs. The 27% turnout we had last elections was so piss poor. If you’re working in this space or have strong ideas on how to improve participation, I’d be happy to connect.

We are such an individualistic set of people. The mindset of most people here is that as long as Nigeria is working for our family and us, other people can continue their journey in the wilderness. That is why we excel as individuals but can't collectively grow as a society.

A few life lessons: 1. One of the ways not to learn something is by pretending that you already know it. 2. It is pointless trying to wake someone who is pretending to be asleep. Don't try to convince someone whose intention is to misunderstand you. 3. Choose your battles carefully. Some fights are not worth your resources. 4. Let it never be said that you didn't give it your best. 5. Always come to equity with clean hands. 6. You may never be able to control all the narratives about you, but never miss out on any opportunity to tell your story. 7. Learn to love yourself. It's okay to be selfish sometimes. 8. Don't let other people’s problems wear you down. They most likely won't do the same for you. 9. Pursue the things that make you happy. 10. Have an incredible belief in yourself. Your mind is one of your greatest assets.

If you have parents or a parent alive, cherish them. See them as often as you can. Speak to them daily and tell them you love them always. If you are already in your late 20’s or 30’s, prepare your mind for life without them. It’s an inevitability that can ruin your mental health

Saw a tweet from someone shedding tears from flying the first time because it was a dream fulfilled for them. And I wonder how many things in our lives we take for granted, even complain about, would be a dream for someone. Stay grateful.

Ada Negbu Azụ” by Ogboogu Okonji, is a playful praise of a woman named Ada, celebrating both her beauty and her mastery in preparing fish to Rich, mouthwatering perfection marked by the signature “ashụ ashụ” sound. This is an Anioma Highlife classic record. Enjoy! 💜🦅

When people borrow money from me and don't repay, I often don't bother myself, especially when the money is not that much. It just tells me the character of the person. I see it as a send-off gift. Take that one, and please, don't come back again.

Fine girl privilege. Rich-looking guy privilege. Confident person privilege. Those privileges exist. Unfortunately, people will always judge a book by its cover. It is what it is. Just make sure that your book’s cover is attractive.
