*Viktor sighs, forgetting about his tea.* If you were attracted to men, who would you want to date?

*Instead of sitting, Jayce reaches the table where he spotted his old journal open.* Are you still reading this? What's so interesting this time?

@pining_viktor Thanks. *He takes a sip. The tea is still too hot.* I don't know. If I were attracted to men, I still wouldn't want someone like him.

@oblivious_jayce *Viktor uses his free hand to bring a tray to the table.* He is good-looking, but that's his only positive trait. *He takes a cup of tea and places it on the table, close to Jayce.*

@pining_viktor Well, I like to remember who I met, even if it's someone I hate. Oh, trust me, I know about his admirers. I hope they just like him for his looks, because if they admired him as a scientist... I'd judge them too.

@goodBoyJayce You're right, I don't have much time to date. But despite what Piltover gossip claims, I'm happy this way. Um, I don't know... I think I'd be fine with someone interested in Hextech, that's all. Someone working with us would make Viktor feel like a third wheel...

@goodBoyJayce Oh, yeah, that can happen too. Well, perhaps I'm too much of a dreamer right now. If I met someone special, I'd want them to understand what my partner and I are doing to bring magic to the world.

@oblivious_jayce It depends, I think. Sometimes you might meet some truly amazing people that might not have the same interests but share the same thirst for knowledge. Sometimes it’s even better this way. Helps you to come up with new ideas.

Viktor and I had a good time tonight in the lab, but I'm still worried about what he said earlier. Does he want me to stop spending my free time with him? Is that why he believes I need a girlfriend? Why did he try to downplay our friendship?
