@TerwaseMurphy @M_o_t_s_i_e_M @iam_commando @NoushardMUFC Building something sustainable at a club that has lacked stability takes time. We were 5th when he was sacked. Team was turning the corner defensively (2 losses in final 15). Beat Newcastle and drew to Leeds with half the squad out. United as a hole lack patience

@M_o_t_s_i_e_M @iam_commando @NoushardMUFC These are excuses to some of us. Amorim came in middle of last season, he knew what our problem for not getting results but y’all continue with the narrative he was implementing a system. If you’re implementing, can’t you show the system you’re implementing with results?

Ruben Amorim: Sporting CP: 60% win rate Manchester United: 32% win rate Ten Hag: Ajax: 73% win rate Manchester United: 54% win rate Same managers but different ecosystem and test. Win rate in a lesser league is one of the most misleading metrics in football discourse. Julian Nagelsmann is the most experienced compared to Michael Carrick but that doesn’t guarantee success at Manchester United. We have been down that road with elite managers in the past and it didn’t end well. The Premier League is a different beast compared to the Bundesliga or other leagues where tactical superiority is easier cause the gap in quality is wide. Whereas, In the Premier League that gap barely exists. Every team is blessed with qualities of their own. Secondly, the pressure isn’t comparable. At United, every draw is a crisis, every loss is global headlines and you have to grow a thick skin to withstand such scrutiny. Nagelsmann is a top coach, he is innovative, modern, tactically elite but United isn’t a tactics problem alone and that’s exactly where things can go wrong in an instant. Most importantly he is a project coach and Manchester United is not project environment. You’re judged instantly. Vincent Kompany could not stay in the Premier League with Burnley but he is doing wonders with Bayern Munich so far. That should tell you Nagelsmann’s win rate should not count for much. However, he may come in and do exceptional but don’t get over the moon because he has that amount of win rate coaching the best teams in Germany. The Premier League is a different beast compared to other leagues.
Noush 🧠 | MUFC@NoushardMUFC

Carrick – 48% win rate Nagelsmann – 64% win rate Carrick – 189 games managed Nagelsmann – 400+ games Carrick – 44 years Nagelsmann – 38 years Carrick – no trophies Nagelsmann – Bundesliga, DFL Super Cup Carrick – managed Middlesbrough Nagelsmann – Hoffenheim, Leipzig, Bayern, Germany These are the basics. So before picking a manager, at least be informed about who you’re comparing. Because it doesn’t add up… If Amorim was getting cooked for a 31% win rate, how does 48% suddenly become better than 64%? Unless we’re just being hypocritical.

@Junyjames @observing_Tn @kylehedder @Izaan__7 As in dressing room attitude & professionalism. This is coming from the players. Said what he did off the pitch will make him so important in our history. Why say that about our worst coach? Could've just said hes nice. Is it really that hard to accept that possibility ?

@ZiadMoh42310431 @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang Okay that’s good. And yea it was gonna take time with proper players to build something sustainable and something players can do with their eyes closed. What we lacked was the midfield to match our high intensity attack for 90mins. First 60 would be great then case got tired

@observing_Tn @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang By too rigid I don't mean changing formations, I mean there were no fluidity between players all patterns, btw you can have a look on my profile because I didn't even want Amorim to leave rn So clearly I don't have any agenda against anyone

@ZiadMoh42310431 @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang Maresca is a good coach, dominated the championship with LC. He leaves and they go down and might go down again Amorim won sporting the league after 20 years. Dominated the country and platformed youth such as nuno mendes, Ignacio, trincao etc. Can’t fake influence

@ZiadMoh42310431 @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang “Too rigid” they changed formation multiple times a game. Amad, maguire, de ligt all said so plus I saw it with my eyes. It’s clear you have an agenda and thus are unable to be objective. Narratives have gotten to you too. This club and our fans get swayed very easily

@observing_Tn @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang That's not right also mate, trying to make it as good as possible but truth is that Amorim's system was too rigid no rotations no fluidity, had some good things like the combination between Amad and Mbeumo but it had too many problems

@ZiadMoh42310431 @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang Bro😂😂 you have an agenda at this point. He literally recruited Cunha on live TV after wolves away last year. Recruited mbuemo as well and sold him on old trafford(his words) Don’t be like those engagement farmer accounts, we were having a good discussion

@observing_Tn @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang On that's not right Vivel only got Sesko, Amorim got no one because he is basically a head coach not a manager, the board got Sesko Mbeumo Cunha and Lammnes that's it mate

@ZiadMoh42310431 @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang Board aren’t recruiting. It’s Vevell and his scout team got Sesko and lammens. Amorim brought Cunha and mbuemo and woulda got semenyo +baleba with more backing. Wilcox wanted Delap…. DELAP. From that moment on I knew he was in over his head.

@ZiadMoh42310431 @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang Chelsea had a manager who approached games similarly and let him go. Nullified PSG with long ball into 2nd balls during CWC. Makes sense too, why play into their strengths? Instead just bypass them. Two phenomenal coaches let down by silly institutions(Utd becoming less silly)

@ZiadMoh42310431 @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang Nope he changed based on the opposition. High pressing side? Long ball to bypass press and draw defenders in to play behind them. Mid block side? High possession, rotations with Amad and mbuemo and repeating training patterns + individual brilliance

@ZiadMoh42310431 @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang Ah ok ok yea most of that is fax. And if you’re a team that wants to attack and control games that means risking getting hit on the counter. Almost every big team has to learn to handle it (city, Barca, Madrid, Bayern, psg).

@observing_Tn @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang I didn't mean it was counter attacking, but my point is Amorim always wanted to go to the final third as fast as possible using the second balls because our build up wasn't that good is an example for that, this made us have lots of transitions because that was very chaotic

@observing_Tn @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang But yeah we play better when we have less of the possession that's what the team is built for same as problems when press high same problems since forever with any coach because the kind of profiles we have isn't built for pressing high and prefer being in mid block for example

@observing_Tn @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang Amorim always wanted to counter that's why we always had transitions on us Mate my whole point is under Carrick we actually want the ball more it isn't a matter of we are dominating the opposition because that's not right our team is better in transitions built for that

@Junyjames @kylehedder @Izaan__7 If a player is capable more but doesn’t show it or put in the work, they don’t play. Notice how rashford doesn’t just walk around the pitch anymore, flick wouldn’t allow it

@ZiadMoh42310431 @UtdEra28 @EliotFowle @Hosang Yea it’s been an issue for years. Amorim pointed it out to after Everton loss. We are still raw in those final decisions and actions and will need a lot of training time to improve. To me it’s a pattern, same reason Utd play better with less of ball/transition games
