🇷🇴 Romania and Albania agreed to resolve the return of Casa Iorga in Saranda to the Romanian state. The agreement was reached between FM Minister Oana Țoiu and her Albanian counterpart. Nicolae Iorga (famous Romanian historian) was a strong supporter of Albania’s independence and wrote important works on Albanian history. As a sign of gratitude, King Zog of Albania donated land in Saranda to him in the 1930s. Iorga later donated part of that land to the Romanian state, where the Casa Iorga (Romanian Institute) was built.
